From the murky depths of Call of Duty Division PC Brigade, 2nd battalion, rise two leviathans knows as Sydney Harbour and Moresby, ready for combat!

Starting in the near future, Cybergamer, a community that supports gamers and organizes tournaments, is holding its 2012 Modern Warfare 3 Winter Cup. The tournament will pit Australian five player teams against each other in a competition that offers prizes to 1st, 2nd and third place finishers as well as the winners of the losers bracket. The league has a prize pool value of 800$.

The two squads mentioned above will represent TG during the Winter Cup.

We’ve spoken to oilad, the Moresby Platoon Leader and he has confirmed their excitement for the tournament. It is the first major league that Moresby Squad has participated in, and they are playing a lot of matches to get ready. Each member has specific roles within the squad and they are all prepared to fight for the top position.

SpeedyBus, the Sydney Harbour Squad Leader, is very confident about their chances in this tournament. Sydney Harbour has, in the past, won some honors in other leagues and tournaments and we look forward to seeing them in this competition. They practice 4 times a week doing friendly scrims with other teams, in their skill range or above, in order to learn from them.

For more information on this tournament, check out the Cybergamer Winter Cup page.

Final registrations for this competition end on 15th May, with the first match taking place only a few days later. With only a short while left for preparation, please join us in wishing all of our members the best of TG luck.

Best of luck in the competition guys! Tactical Gaming stands behind you! gob_icon_salute.gif
