2nd Battalion Takeover: The Growth of CoD's PC Brigade
By TG CallaNinja

Recruiting + members devoted to help expand the brigade + the TG Sponsors program = Success!

This equation has been a huge influence on the advancement of the PC Brigade in the Call of Duty division. With the amount of members they've gotten over time, there has to be a secret as to what they're doing! I had a chance to talk to TG James246 (2nd Battalion XO) and TG SmeatnPotatoes (Brigade Commander) the Brigade and see what's going on.

1) In your opinion, what has been the biggest factor in the growth of the 2nd battalion PC brigade?

Smeats: The movtivation to work as a team to grow their brigade has been a big factor. TG James246 sets the bar for recruitment and it encourages others to do the same.

2) Has the TG sponsors' funding helped with the growth?

James: The TG Sponsors program was a big contributor to the growth of the PC Brigade as a whole, brining in over 70 recruits. The prizes as incentives definitely helped!

Smeats: TG sponsored servers have been a big help getting TG's name out there. 2nd bat members work hard to keep the server active which keeps it at the top of the server lists.

3) How much of an impact would you say TG James242 has been on the battalion, in regards to Australian squads?

Smeats: TG James246 has a massive impact on the growth of 2nd battalion. Alone, James has recruited over 120 members with a pretty good retention rate after bootcamps. James never stops recruiting and the way he's broken down the process is fantastic. His passion for TG and CoD have never waivered and this constant example shows his members dedication and that recruitment is not impossible. His members have great respect for him and take his lead when they see him taking action. For e.g. they are likely to see him recruiting and join in to help him.

4) Any recruiting tips for our readers?

James: Be friendly, consistent and take the time to get to know the person your recruiting! It'll all be worth it in the end!

Smeats: Never stop! Recruitment is an ongoing thing and you can't stop. I look at our brigade like "the heart" and without blood this organ has no reason to beat. If you have no members you have no brigade and as CoC it is imparative to keep recruitment front of mind for my staff. If you see your IS squads below 10 members, then it's time to get out there and start recruiting. Tap your TG resources; talk with your PRO, they can help and they're job is to help get TG's name out there. Even your HTIA can see the bootcamps and can help you guide ppl if they are unsure of the reg. process.
